In advertising news, listen out for our version of the American classic “You Are My Sunshine” in the new Yi Li Milk commercial. That company’s flipping huge, so we should be hearing it quite a lot on TVs across China. Fantastic…Secondly, welcome the new poster boy for action who flew to catch some Yunnan scenery,Ye Jingying - who follows up none other than JET LI (!!!)…in a new MaiDong sports drink commercial. Reflector has recently contacted the indie label Newbees Music. Possibly we will make a deal with Newbees and release our debut album there.

Two great news!!! the guitarist Lipeng will come to band in July 4,we are so fucking happy and wish the time through more faster...today,all Lipeng's friends go to court,but i CAN"T come in the fucking courtroom?!?!because i'm his band member?!?!i hate this law,and i lost only one chance can see him,because i just looking around this "great"court....shit:(....however,he will come back soon!!!

Reflector will go to Shen Zhen & HONG KONG!!!!

First,we will be invited to a huge X-Game which is going to be held in Happy Valley,Shenzhen.And we will perform from May 1 to May 6.If you are in Shen Zhen,don't forget to enjoy Reflector's punk rock!

Second, our best friend Riz,the vocal of Hong Kong's best band KING LYCHEE,will help us to hold a show in HONG KONG!!That's awesome!And this show is going to turn into HK's first punk/hardcore/metal festival and will be held at the WAREHOUSE!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY!!!
Sorry for taking so long to update the English website. Things have been pretty busy around Beijing...Well for one the Taiwanese bands came and played four fabulous shows between Christmas and New Year's, and did some pretty decadent shopping. On the last day, Fire Extinguisher's drummer went out and filled no less than 3 HUGE bags with stuff. We still have no idea with exactly what. The guys were great but weren't ready for Beijing's many fine varieties of icy, cutting, sandy, chomping wind. To them it was all just FUCKING COLD. They ROCKED the four shows and got a great reception aside from a few unfortunate mishaps that had nothing to do with them. We were really glad they could make it out here to promote Chinese punk-rock unity and hope they'll come back soon.
On New Year's Eve, Reflector did the 7-band bonanza at Get Lucky and saw more people in there than in the last six months combined. It was quite a scene and the bar even forgot to do the countdown. But the real anti-climax came at the follow on show, where Reflector arrived just in time to finish off the New Year's punk celebration at Wu Ming Gao Di....for a whole song and a half. Staging their repeat performance from a week earlier, some kids with bad attitudes dressed up as old school punks, got up and stopped the show. A few kicks from the Doc Martens later (and with some minor blood-loss), WE KICKED THEIR ASSES!!! Unfortunately, Li Peng took a bottle in the head too, so after this episode, he's going on a short vacation. As pissed off as we are at those assholes who dragged us off stage and started the whole thing, we do not, repeat do NOT consider this to be typical Beijing punk attitudes. That was totally uncalled for and only happened because some people don't get the message and think that we're trying to start a battle of the vans vs combat boots. Wha-huh?!?!?! Get real (and get well soon)...that's all we've ever tried to say. Can't we all just get along??? BJ punks should stay UNITED, LEATHER OR NO. Peace to everyone in the New Year.
